Cat in the Box
Alvin has been spending a lot of time in his box lately. Maybe it's because of all the publicity on the internet!
Nicholas will be happy to help him deal with the fame.. its a tough job, all this interweb attention, but someone has to do it. ;-) Hi Alvin!! hee hee hee i love his grump face :-D
Remember the days when groceries went into paper sacks? When we had our pair of sister cats they would love to go into a paper sack and sit. Must be something inborn, like sitting at the mouth of a cave surveying their realm.
What a cutie. My dad has two kitties that literally cannot resist a box. They can't help themselves. Oh, if only everyone could be so simple to make happy!
Well, I think maybe I should offer Alvin a little trip to southern California. I have lost 4...I said 4...perfectly lovely, healthy, beautiful tomato plants in the past 2 weeks to either golphers or voles. Roots and underground stem eaten clear through. Is he for hire?
I would ship him out to you for a nice little vacation. However, he is a bit slow catching voles due to his vision issues. Sometimes he will lay in the same spot in the garden for up to two weeks before he gets one.
Yes, he is adorable. But, Alvin is a very unusual cat. My daughter found him when he was young in a parking lot. He has brain damage from birth and is almost blind. He is the smartest cat I have ever met and very ornery. The only person he really loves is me.....and he is not one to sit on your lap. That is Miss Banana's department!
What a cutie pie!
ReplyDeleteAlvin may be cute, but he is something else!

Alvin says he only likes the positive fame....like his vole killings!
DeleteHe sure does look grumpy! He also needs to go to the groomer and get a haircut!

ReplyDeleteIt's definitely something inborn since cats really love to get in boxes and bags. Miss Banana is the bag lady around here!
DeleteAll cats love boxes for some reason. He looks a little sleepy.
ReplyDeleteHe was asleep. He woke up when I started taking the pics.

ReplyDeleteWouldn't that be great, if all we needed is something so simple as a box to make us happy!
DeleteMy cats can barely wait for me to get items out of boxes before they jump in.
ReplyDeleteAlvin has had this same box since a couple of weeks after Christmas. It even has wrapping paper inside. He just loves wrapping paper!
DeleteHe looks very content.
ReplyDeleteHe sure is Sue! He just loves that box!
DeleteAlvin is so cute! I'm glad we've met him. That box....ha!
ReplyDeleteJody, He spends most of his indoor time in that box ever since "The Italian" moved it right before all of you came to visit!
DeleteYa gotta wonder what it is about tight spaces....
ReplyDeleteHe's a doll. A big ol' cuddly doll.
Sue, he sure is cute....but, I'm the only one he truly loves!
DeleteBoxes and sacks - who needs a fancy bed? I'm with OFG, I love his grump face! Enjoy your fame, Alvin.
ReplyDeleteAlvin can definitely be a grump!
