I RAN back out to the garden.................

this morning after reading EG's post....and did this......................................

put a tomato cage over the spaghetti squash..............then.........

I ran over here and  put a tomato cage over my "Little Helper's" pumpkin.........then

I walked by the side perennial bed and saw this...............then............

I waltzed over to stalk the peppers and saw these................then..............

I meandered out back to check the tomatoes for bugs.............and found THIS!!!!

Then I saw a cloud of dust!!! The car was gone!!! I think that "The Italian" went to the store to get bread and Miracle Whip for his first tomato sandwich!!!!
I think that he will be waiting a couple of days for that though :)

  1. The Italian and I have something in common. I have to have Miracle Whip on my tomato sandwiches, too!

You must be tired, what with all the running. walking and waltzing!

  8. Granny, I was tired after all of that...so tired that "The Italian" had to cook dinner. Oh, that's right, he does most of the cooking :)

  9. YUM! Make sure to document the tomato harvest and consumption for those of us who will still be awaiting tomatoes. I will need to live vicariously for a few more weeks.

  11. Henbogle, All will be documented and posted for enjoyment!

meemsnyc, The peppers were planted outside on May 5. Some of the tomatoes were planted outside in the portable greenhouse on April 9 and the rest of the tomatoes were planted outside on April 30. I had started my seeds a little too early. They were getting a little stressed...so they had to go in the ground in Kozy Koats to protect them
