"The Italian"
After a long battle with cancer my beloved husband a/k/a "The Italian" passed away peacefully this past Monday.
Robin, I'm so sorry to hear about the Italian's death. Right now emotions are raw but as time goes by the crying memories will turn into smiling memories. I've been there. Twelve years ago my wife passed from a long term (life time) illness. The first year is the toughest with all the first time things alone. So sorry you have to go through this again. Your blog indicates that your daughter was taken at an early age of 17. My prayers are being sent your way.
Robin, one thing I've learned these past few years of blogging is that the love and good energy of so many of us our here, sharing with each other on our blogs, is palpable and real. Take in our love and positive thoughts and let them help begin your process of healing.
Big hugs to you and your family from both of us...
Robin, I knew you hadn't blogged in awhile but saw your comment on First Man's blog so happened over here to see if you had a blog post. Oh, my what a shock! I'm so sorry to hear that you lost your dear one. Now I understand your comment on Granny's blog which didn't register before. May God bless you and your family at this sad time of mourning.
Robin, I'm so sorry to hear this. You are in all our hearts and prayers, as everyone on this comment line has said. I wish only the best for you. Mercy

I just found myself thinking of you and had to see what you were up to. I'm so sorry to read this post! I know nothing a can say really helps. However I am sending you a big hug and positive thoughts.
Oh Robin, I know how you are feeling now.... Losing your life partner is not so easy . because he is the one who is equal to whole world for us. May his soul rest in peace .(ameen)
