FINALLY............THEY ARE STARTING!!!
I am so excited!! The first almost ripe tomato of the season.....a cherry! This is my grandson's tomato plant. He will be able to pick and eat it tomorrow.......and I can stop complaining!
Robin, yah!!!!!!!! We have a few of the Stupice tomatoes coming on, one I've been babysitting in a pot since March 1, but the majority of our plants are simply in the bud stage and patiently waiting. Our forecast is for sun the next 10 days!!!!!!! finally, no rain. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
Isn't it funny how we get so excited about the first tomato of the season? I'm thinking mine will come in two weeks... at which time you will hear a whoop and a hollar all the way to Pennsylvania! (Cute that your grandson's plant is the the first.)
Congrats!
ReplyDeleteCool! I bet you'll really enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteIt's finally warming up here, so maybe I'm not far behind you! I counted quite a few green ones yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI can't be too far behind. Early by any account and we still want our tomatoes sooner. Enjoy.
