What do you think this is??

Since a lot of you are snowed in, I thought that I would publish this post.

"The Italian" got me some really nice gardening gifts and gadgets for Christmas this past year. This was one gift that I did not post. I thought his wrapping was very very interesting :)

So.....what do you think this is???

    Well, my first thought was that it looked like a boomerang, but that's neither a garden thing, or something most folks would be receiving for Christmas. Then I thought about one of those hand maddock things that are for digging in the dirt, but now I don't think that's what it is. My official guess??? I'm going with some hand pruners.

    Good and funny guesses...but, I have to say that I couldn't guess what it was and was even able to feel it!!

    It appears to be a cultivat-a-rang sold by Ronco on TV. In the center there are fingers that protrude downward. Theoretically, the gardener kneels down, and throws the cultivat-a-rang at ground level down the rows. The fingers cultivate and weed your garden while it is spinning and coming back to you. Repeat until weeds are gone. Cool tool.

    He must really love you to go to this extreme! I hope it's the optional chia-pet version! Make sure you thank him!
