ReplyDeleteOur forecast is the same and our plants are not happy about it. The one hopeful sign I see is the somewhat higher temps.
ReplyDeleteWas just reviewing our upcoming forecasts and we are getting hit with a storm Thurs into Friday. I'm moving south with or without my family.
ReplyDeleteLooks likes you are getting what we had last week minus the snow but we did have hail. Warmer weather is coming. We are in the high 70's the rest of this week and then back into the high 60's. Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteRobin, We had flurries this morning! Ugh! Reminds me when I was a kid and mom would say - This is blackberry, dogwood or whatever she would dream up to excuse the cold weather in the spring. I still don't care what it is. I want spring!!
ReplyDeleteI KNOW! PA is not my favorite place right about now. If something doesn't break soon I wont have anything to eat.
ReplyDeleteI am watching the early news for my area right now and am not pleased that a potential Nor'easter is heading our way. Ugh!
ReplyDeleteGinny, Maybe I will go get my hair cut which is about 4" past due. It's either that or clean the house!
ReplyDeleteJody, Yesterday there was no rain, yet alone snow in the forecast for a week!! I don't know if I will ever get my broccoli and cabbage planted!
ONG, My husband would love to move southe....I always say no...I may change my mind!!
Liisa, I agree...I want spring too!!!
Jane, Isn't this ridiculous??? We may all starve :)
Rachel, I really feel for you. They are saying that one county north of us could get 5-10" of snow!!
Our weather has warmed up a bit, but the wind is relentless! Any small amount of rain we get, or water I put on the garden is quickly dried from the wind. This is the first time it has blown so hard it blew one of my seed mats out of the garden! Bye-bye turnips.
ReplyDeleteGranny, With the wind blowing that hard...I bet you were expecting to see Dorothy & Toto!!
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. We're having the same weather. At least it's looking a little better temp wise for next week.
ReplyDeleteStinks doesn't it? I am so itching to get out there and get my hands in the dirt. But, you know, it needs to thaw out first. Grrr.
ReplyDeleteThe Mom, It's snowing right now...oh well, the temps are definitely getting warmer. I guess that Old Man Winter just wants to have one last snow!
ReplyDeleteKelly, I shouldn't complain...our ground here is not frozen.
