This is a journal of my small organic urban kitchen garden & large community garden plots. This blog includes home preserving, recipes & a little bit of our life. My husband calls the gardens Eden. He should know he is the cook here! We are located in eastern Pennsylvania in zone 6B.

This is an old fork!
ReplyDeleteGreat Bins! And that is a great fork with some great gardening history behind it, I bet! And I love your gardens in the background, everything looks very green and lushly growing!
ReplyDeleteThat definitely is an old fork...Wow, i'd have to put it up for safe keeping. I like your bins - they're just right!
ReplyDeleteMojVrt, Erin & EG: Well, I just took a better look at my fork. It's made of brass! I just took it out of the shed this year. Now that I've been using it for a couple of months you can see that's it's brass. We estimate it's about my age 5Oish. I figured that I better keep in the shed from now on and only bring it out when I need it.
ReplyDeleteOh, my. You're one of those people with a real compost bin ;-) I used to have one of those. Back when I had horse poo.
ReplyDeleteThe fork looks just like mine, but somewhere along the line they went from brass to plastic!
